Wiper Blade Adapter Types: What to Send Before Requesting a Bulk Quote
A photograph of a blade is not enough to confirm its adapter. Send the arm connection, the fitted connector from several angles, the blade length and the vehicle details. For wholesale purchasing, retain that evidence against the exact catalogue reference and revision.
Photograph the connection, not just the package
A catalogue image may show an arc of different adapters without naming the contents of the quoted pack. Ask which connector is installed, which alternatives are supplied and how they are identified. The number of adapters in the picture does not establish a percentage of vehicle coverage.
Photograph the arm end, the connector before installation and the assembled connection where it can be inspected safely. Include any identifying marks. If dimensions are needed, ask the supplier which surfaces should be measured; a measurement without a reference point can create another ambiguity.
Record vehicle information separately
Keep make, model, year, market and front/rear position with the photographs. A familiar-looking connector does not replace an application check. Follow the vehicle and product instructions for installation; this buying checklist is not a substitute for those instructions.
For a proposed mixed application order, use an application-to-connector table. One connector can appear on several rows, but do not combine those rows until the supplier has confirmed the relevant combinations. A single approval should not silently become approval of every adapter pictured in the family.
Make approval traceable
Request a reference photo of the exact approved combination. Give it an internal code and put the same code on the sample review, quotation and packing specification. If the supplied connector changes, the supplier should identify the change before the buyer treats it as interchangeable stock.
