Fabtech 07-13 GM K1500 P/U w/o Autoride 4WD 6in Basic Sys w/Perf Shks
Our 6 Suspension systems for the T900 platform uses our industry leading crossmember and spindle technology. Fabtech pushes the envelope with superior ride height to properly clear 35 tall tires. Extensive design work was given to the extended length steering knuckles to keep the track width near stock with superior turning radius for maneuverability in tight spots. Lower control arm crossmembers are strengthened with cross tubes backed up by tubular frame struts to distribute front suspension impact loads. The front differential is protected with a tightly formed 1/4 thick steel skid plate. Rear suspension lift is accomplished via a block and add-a-leaf system. The Basic system features all the above componentry with a front coilover spacer system utilizing the factory coilover assembly for a stock like ride. This system has been properly designed to work with the factory Stabilitrak? safety functions without reprogramming the vehicles computer. Extensive design work was given to the extended length steering knuckles specifically for the Steel component version keeping track width near stock and working properly with the Stablitrac safety functions. The front differential is relocated with heavy duty brackets while a tightly formed 1/4 in thick steel skid plate provides protection for offroad use. The rear suspension is upgraded with add a leafs and 5in tall blocks and u bolts. The stock rear shocks are replaced with Performance shocks for increase damping. Offset ductile Steering Knuckles keep tires under fenders Includes Crossmember cross tubes to distribute front suspension impact loads No disassembly of factory coilover assembly required for installation Systems compatible with factory Stablitrac. Fabtech 19-20 GM C/K1500 P/U w/Trail Boss/At4 Pkg 4in Basic Sys w/Perf Shks
The Chevrolet Trail Boss and GMC AT4 both have a factory 2 in. lift compared to other GM 1500 trucks of the same year model. Fabtech’s suspension system for these two trucks provide a 4 in. lift height on top of the factory 2 in. lift for clearance of 35 in. tall tires. Once a Trail Boss or AT4 is lifted with a Fabtech 4 in. system, the truck will sit the same height as a 1500 with a 6 in. suspension and 35 in. tires. Fabtech’s suspension design for the Trail Boss and AT4 provides excellent drive ability both on and offroad. There is zero bump steer throughout the suspension cycle that helps reduce drive fatigue while improving the overall drive ability of the vehicle. The near stock track width keeps the tires under the fenders for a clean appearance. Fabtech’s proprietary steering knuckle geometry provides excellent lock to lock turning radius to maneuver in tight spots. Heavy duty 1/4 in. thick steel crossmembers feature OE style alignment cam pins that utilize the factory cams for easy adjustment. Triple front diff mounts reposition the differential for vibration free operation at high speed. The factory Trail Boss and AT4 coilover shocks are retained and relocated from the bottom to allow for full steer while achieving 4 in. of lift. Rear lift is accomplished by removing the factory 2 in. block and replacing it with a 5 in. block and u-bolt system. Fabtech has addressed all aspects of the Trail Boss suspension for proper wheel travel and lock to lock steering without over cycling. Comes with a free 5 year 60,000 mile Powertrain Warranty.
