ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks with CDEV are designed and built to give your vehicle outstanding performance off-road and a smooth ride on the street. These shocks are configured specifically for each application in both length and damping tune. For piggyback and specific remote reservoir applications, ICON’S unique use of a 6061-billet aluminum manifold a few inches below the top cap of the shock creates an internal Bump Zone that when used creates an additional 20% of damping force. This additional force helps prevent harsh bottom outs and controls the suspension when compressing at high velocity. Like all ICON’S Shock Absorbers, V.S. 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks with CDEV are fully rebuildable and re-tunable. The ICON CDE Valve upgrade is included for those desiring an easy way to tune the ride electronically from inside the vehicle. The included ICON billet aluminum upper control arm kit is designed to improve the overall performance of the new 2024-2026 Toyota Tacoma with corrected front-end geometry, increased on-vehicle camber and caster adjustment, and improved suspension component clearance. Replacing the OE ball joint with the all-new, serviceable, and rebuildable ICON Delta Joint PRO allows for full bump and droop travel of the front suspension while eliminating bind. The rear triple-rate coil design provides a softer droop and ride rates with a firmer overload rate that combine to deliver on-road comfort with excellent bottoming resistance and superior off-road performance. ICON billet rear upper and lower links feature on-vehicle adjustability via the ICON double adjuster and employ dual-durometer greaseless bushings at one end, and massive FK rod ends at the other to provide the best combination of free articulation while isolating and damping road noise and vibrations. The ICON Billet Adjustable Rear Track Bar helps re-center the rear axle and double adjuster rod end threads allow easy “on-vehicle” fine adjustment of track bar length without requiring removal or disassembly of the track bar.
